Every year Freedom diving center organizes international depth competitions in Larnaca.
Since 2015 our team has organized eleven international freediving competitions.

FREEDOM DEPTH GAMES SPRINGFor the first time, we are announcing depth competition during spring.
Competition will be between 30th May to 2nd June 2024
The competition is under AIDA regulations.

SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS
✓ 1 Competition Boat equipped with counter-ballast system and High-resolution sonar.
✓ Experienced, trained safety for the competition line.
✓ 1 Fully Equipped Medical Rescue boat with first aid crew and Doctor
✓ 1 Fast evacuation boat capable of making to the beach in 3 mins
✓ 1 Fully equipped ambulance on standby on the beach with 10 minutes drive to medical center
FREEDOM DEPTH GAMES 2024
Freedom depth games is our biggest event of the year.
It takes place every year during the first two weeks of October and athletes from all over the world participate.
The competition is under AIDA regulations, there is no depth limit and is WORLD RECORD STATUS.
The amazing weather conditions, 27 degrees water temperature, 30+ meters visibility, professional judges and safety team promising the athletes the best conditions for relaxation and safe dives.
Divers of all levels may participate to the competition.
Athletes can do four dives (one per day) in any discipline CWT, CWTB, FIM and CNF.
Athletes have four competition days during which they can chouse between four disciplines: CWT, CWTB, FIM, CNF

COMPETITION SET UP
The site proposed for the competition is 2km from shore, located in front of Psarolimano port and within 5 minutes by boat from Larnaca beach coastline.
One mooring is installed. This mooring is then anchored to the competition boat, drop off boat for athletes and evacuation boat.
Transfer boats are permanently available to transfer competitors from the port to the competition location.
